Baking is truly a therapeutic process, which also helps eliminate the preservatives and additives that come in store-bought treats. For your tea or coffee, bake crunchy cinnamon cookies with this step-wise recipe.
2.5 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup butter 1 cup sugar ½ cup brown sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp ground cinnamon 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt
Take the butter, soften it, and mix with sugar till it’s fluffy. Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract.
In another bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix the dry and wet ingredients till you get a consistent cookie dough.
Mix sugar and cinnamon. Take small portions of the dough and roll them in the coating mixture.
Bake the cookies for about ten minutes till they are golden brown. Let them cool before serving.
