Chane or chickpeas are a great source of protein. If you are looking for something spicy as well as healthy for a snack, you must try making chana chaat with these six easy steps.
1 cup soaked chickpeas 1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon oil 1 ginger 1 green chilli 1 onion 1 tomato 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves 1/4 cup sev 1 tablespoon lemon juice Chaat masala to taste Salt to taste
Take the soaked chane, add water, and cook them in a pressure cooker for 15-20 minutes.
Heat some oil and add saute cumin seeds, grated ginger, and chopped green chilli.
Add chopped onion, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder and mix well.
Mix in the cooked chickpeas and add salt to taste.
Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice, chaat masala, and sev.
Enjoy the spicy and healthy chana chaat.
