Delicious, spicy and perfect when paired with parottas or naan, this Mutton Vepudu from Andhra Pradesh is a true treat. Check out the recipe and give it a try now.
500g mutton, boneless or small cuts 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tbsp red chilli powder Salt, to taste 1 cup water For the frying: 2 sprigs curry leaves 3 dry red chillies 3 green chillies 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp garam masala ½ cup oil
Marinate the mutton with the ginger-garlic paste, salt, oil, turmeric, coriander and chilli powder.

Place the marinated mutton and water in a cooker and cook for 2-3 whistles or until done.

Heat oil in a large wok, then add curry leaves, dry red chillies, green chillies and let them splutter.
Add the ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, saute until the raw smell dissipates, and then add the cooked mutton.
Fry the mutton pieces until it is well combined. Serve the Mutton Vepudu with parotta.
