Are you craving a South Indian meal, but have gluten intolerance or shifted to a millet-forward diet? With this dosa oats recipe, you can make your meal gluten-free and much faster than a traditional dosa.
1 cup rolled oats ½ cup gluten-free rice flour ¼ cup urad dal ½ tsp fenugreek seeds 1-2 green chillies 1 inch ginger Few curry leaves, chopped Salt to taste Water as required Oil for cooking
Mix oats, rice flour, urad dal flour, and fenugreek seeds. Add water to form a smooth batter.
Let the batter rest for 4-6 hours or overnight.
Mix in chillies, ginger, curry leaves and salt. Add a little water to adjust the consistency.
Heat a pan and pour a ladleful of batter. Spread it thinly and cook on both sides.
Once the oats dosa is crispy, serve it with sambar and coconut chutney.
