Also called ‘Ceylon parotta,’ this South Indian recipe is super quick to make. You can eat this with anything you like or have it separately. If you’ve been looking for an easy egg-based recipe, try this one.
2 cups of all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons of sugar Salt to taste 2 eggs Cooking oil as required Water as required
In a mixing bowl, add the flour, eggs, oil, salt, and sugar. Mix it well.
Add water little by little. Keep kneading until it turns into a dough.
Set the dough aside for 30 minutes. Knead the dough for 10 minutes with little oil.
Oil your fingers. Start rolling the dough into balls. Roll them out in squares.
In a tawa, spread some oil, and toast the parottas. Flip it and toast the other side.
Serve egg veechu parotta or ceylon parotta with chicken curry or veg curry.
