Curd rice is a delicious, nutritious, and wholesome South Indian dish that is perfect for when you are feeling lousy about cooking or craving something home-cooked. Not only will it satisfy your hunger but also help to improve your gut flora.
1 cup cooked rice 1 cup hot milk 1.5 cups curd Salt to taste 1.5 tbsp oil 1 tsp mustard seeds 7-8 curry leaves 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp coriander 1 green chilli 2-3 red chillies
Once rice is cooked, mash the grains a bit and combine them with 1 cup of hot milk.
Let the rice cool down, add a cup and combine the ingredients.
Heat oil and add mustard seeds to it.
Drop red chillies, green chillies, ginger, and curry leaves.
Pour the tempering over the rice and curd mixture.
Enjoy curd rice after garnishing with coriander and pomegranate seeds.
