In the morning, whether it's a weekday or weekend, cooking for yourself always seems like a task. If you are the one cooking, you would want to get done with it as soon as possible and get to other tasks. Here is how you can make sooji chilla in under 15 minutes.
2 cups sooji 1 cup curd Water as needed Salt to taste 2 tbsp butter ½ tsp red chilli powder 1 chopped onion 1 chopped tomato 50 grams grated paneer 1 tsp fruit salt
Mix curd and sooji in a bowl. Add some water but keep the consistency thick.
While sooji rests, you can chop the vegetables and mix them.
Adjust the consistency of the sooji batter and add fruit salt to it.
Heat a griddle and grease it with butter.
Add a ladle full of batter and spread it in circular motions.
Once the base is cooked, add chopped veggies on top and enjoy with sauce.
