Have you tried sooji cake? If not, this guide is for you. Sooji is a versatile ingredient that you can use to make savoury and sweet delights. This cake recipe is for beginning to take their baking skills to the next level.
¼ cup milk 2 cup rava ½ cup oil 1 cup sugar ½ cup curd ¼ tsp salt ½ tsp cardamom ¾ tsp baking powder ¼ tsp baking soda
Grind rava into a fine powder and mix it with water. Keep it aside.
Dissolve sugar in a blend of curd and oil. Add milk to this blend.
Add salt to the rava and mix everything with the sugary curd blend. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Add other ingredients to the batter and transfer it to a greased baking tray.
Bake the cake for 45 minutes at 180°C. Check if it’s done by inserting a toothpick.
Store the cake in the refrigerator and enjoy it for a week.
