A healthy and tasty snack made with a mix of sooji and besan. Packed with veggies and spices, this protein-rich chilla is perfect for breakfast or a light dinner. Click to read a quick and healthy recipe.
½ cup sooji ½ cup besan ½ cup yoghurt 1 finely chopped onion 1 finely chopped tomato 1 finely chopped green chilli 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves ¼ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste Water Oil for cooking
Mix sooji, besan, curd, and enough water to make a smooth batter and let it rest for 10 mins.
Add chopped veggies, spices, salt to the batter and adjust consistency.
Heat a non-stick pan, grease lightly, pour batter, and spread gently.
Cook on medium flame until it turns golden on both sides.
Serve chilla hot with green chutney or ketchup.
