Sohan halwa is a traditional North Indian dessert renowned for its richness, crunchy nuts, and melt-in-the-mouth texture. Made with wheat flour, ghee, and sugar, follow this recipe to try it.
1 cup wheat flour 1/2 cup ghee 1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder 1/2 cup water Chopped nuts for garnish
Heat some ghee and add wheat flour. Roast till golden brown and fragrant.
Add sugar and stir well. Gradually mix water and mix till it thickens.
Once the water is absorbed, add the cardamom powder. Turn off the heat.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve the sohan halwa.
