Kava roots, when used in beverages, regulate your mood, relax your body and improve your sleep cycle. This mocktail recipe can be a great way to start.
1 tbsp kava root powder 1 cup coconut water ½ cup pineapple juice Juice of 1 lime 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup Mint leaves, as needed Crushed ice, as needed
Combine kava root powder with a little amount of warm water, then filter it into a glass.
In a shaker, combine crushed ice, coconut water, pineapple juice, lime juice, and honey.
Shake the filtered kava mixture until cool. Pour into a large glass full of ice.
Before serving, garnish with mint leaves and a pineapple slice.
You can add sparkling water to give it a bubbly touch. Mango juice also complements kava's earthy taste.
