Irish cold coffee is a direct jolt to the soul as it has the best of both worlds; caffeine and booze. Here’s the recipe for Irish coffee that you’ve been waiting for.
½ cup freshly brewed coffee, hot 1 ½ tsp granulated sugar 1 heaping teaspoon of brown sugar 4 tbsp Irish whiskey Fresh whipped cream
Take your preheated mug and fill ¾ of the mug with the hot coffee.
Add granulated sugar and brown sugar to it and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
While adding whisky, make sure you continuously stir the concoction. Add ice, as needed.
Lastly, top it with whipped cream. Gently let the cream sit on top.
Don’t break the surface of the coffee. This adds a second layer to the coffee giving a cloudy look on the top.
