Kala Chana Soup is a nutritious and protein-rich dish, perfect for a healthy diet. This hearty soup, packed with flavour and nutrients, makes an ideal comfort meal for any season.
1 cup black chana 4 cups water Salt to taste 3-4 garlic pods 1-inch ginger 1 bay leaf 4-5 black peppercorns 1 onion 1 tsp ghee 1 tsp cumin (jeera)
Soak black chana for 5-6 hours or overnight. Pressure cook with water, salt, garlic, ginger, bay leaf, pepper, and onion for 4-5 whistles.
Cool and remove the bay leaf. Blend the mixture along with the broth. Temper with ghee and cumin before serving.
