From using eggs, cheese, meat, and butter to layering them with anything and everything you like, sandwiches have satisfied instant hunger or cravings. For a snack break, though, try making this cheese chilli sandwich. All you have to do is follow this super-easy recipe!
½ a cup of mayonnaise 3 tablespoons of tomato ketchup ½ teaspoon of chilli flakes ½ tablespoon of mixed herbs 2 medium-sized onions, finely chopped 1 capsicum, julienned 100-125 grams of paneer, chopped into small pieces 2 tablespoons of sweet corn
2 chillis, chopped ½ teaspoon of chilli powder 1 packet of your preferred bread Butter as required 1-2 cheese slices Salt to taste
In a large bowl, pour in the mayonnaise and tomato ketchup. Add the chilli flakes and mixed herbs. Mix well.
Add the capsicum, paneer, onions, chillis and sweet corn. Mix it well. Sprinkle it with chilli powder.
Take two pieces of bread, and spread the butter on them evenly. Next, spread the green chutney in the same way.
Place the cheese slices on top of the bread slices. On one bread, add the paneer stuffing that you had mixed in a bowl.
Place the second piece of bread on top of the first one. Heat a tawa. Place the sandwich on the tawa. Set the heat to medium.
Let it cook until the cheese has melted and the bread has turned golden brown. Flip it to cook the other side as well. Take it off the heat.
Cut the sandwich into equal halves. Serve it with tea, coffee or any beverage.
