Bun maska is a beloved teatime snack, a simple and delightful dish where a soft bun is slathered with butter and served with a hot cup of tea. Click to find out the recipe.
2 fresh buns 2 tbsp butter 1 tsp sugar Chai to pair with the bun
Slice the buns horizontally into halves.
Preheat the tawa over medium heat.
Spread a layer of butter on the inner sides of buns, place them on the tawa buttered side down, and toast until golden and crisp.
Remove from heat, sprinkle sugar on the buttered side for a sweeter version.
Pair the bun maska with hot chai and enjoy!
