Shikanji, made primarily with lemons, sugar, and chilled water, is one of the easiest ways to get refreshed after stepping in from the heat. Ready in less than 5 minutes, here’s how to make shikanji sharbat.
1/2 cup lemon juice 4 cups chilled water 5 tablespoons sugar 3/4 teaspoon black salt 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon amchur powder Chopped mint leaves Ice cubes
Squeeze some lemons to get half a cup of lemon juice.
In a jar, mix lemon juice, chilled water, and sugar. Stir well till the sugar dissolves.
Add spices like black salt, cumin powder, and amchur powder, and mix in with ice cubes.
Garnish with chopped mint leaves, and your shikanji will be ready.
