Everyone likes a bowl of dessert after a meal. For something traditional, you can make seviyan kheer, add a generous amount of dry fruits and nuts and please your sweet tooth. Try this quick recipe.
1/2 cup vermicelli 2 cups milk Sugar to taste 2 tablespoons ghee A pinch of cardamom powder Chopped dry fruits for garnishing
Heat some ghee and roast vermicelli till golden brown.
In another pan, heat some milk. Let it boil and then simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add the roasted vermicelli and sugar to the milk. Let it cook till the sugar dissolves.
Mix in a pinch of cardamom powder. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
