Rajgira, aka amaranth, is a pseudo cereal that is perfect for fasting days. To replace your go-to atte ka halwa, you can make rajgira halwa. Naturally gluten-free, try this rich halwa to please your sweet tooth.
1 cup rajgira atta 1 cup milk 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup ghee 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder Chopped nuts for garnish
Roast the rajgira atta till fragrant. Set aside.
In a separate pan, mix milk, water, ghee, and sugar. Let it simmer.
Mix in roasted flour and cardamom powder and cook till the mixture thickens.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve it warm.
