Who said you have to bid your comfort foods a goodbye if you’re observing a fast this Sawan? If your go-to food is dosa, here is how you can make upvas dosa that is perfect for your vrat thali.
1 cup samak chawal (barnyard millet) ¼ cup sabudana ½ tsp jeera 1 green chilli 1 tsp grated ginger 2 tbsp coriander leaves 1 tsp rock salt Water as required Ghee for cooking
Soak samak ke chawal and sabudana for 4-5 hours. Grind them into a smooth batter.
Mix in rock salt, jeera, ginger, green chilli, and coriander leaves.
Grease a dosa tawa with ghee and pour a ladleful of batter. Spread the batter and cook on both sides.
Once crispy, serve the vrat-friendly dosa with dahi and coconut chutney.
