People need to keep up with the energy even when they are fasting during Sawan. From working tirelessly in the office to managing things at home, you need superfoods like sabudana. Here is a quick recipe for sabudana chakli that you can try.
1-2 chopped green chillies 1 bowl sabudana 1 tsp cumin seeds 1-2 boiled potatoes Salt to taste Oil for frying
Wash and soak sabudana overnight so that it is easy to work with it the next day. Keep boiled potatoes ready.
Mash boiled potatoes in a bowl and combine them with sabudana, chillies, and spices.
Make sure that the mixture is thick but loose enough to pass through the chakli machine.
You can also add black pepper to the mixture to enhance its flavour. Using the machine, shape the sabudana mixture.
Add the chaklis to the hot oil in a kadhai. Make sure to fry the snack on both sides.
Either serve the chakli hot with green chutney or store it in an airtight jar and relish it on the go.
