Sattu, or roasted gram flour, is a legendary superfood that acts as a natural electrolyte balancer. Ingredients

 3 tbsp sattu flour  1.5 cups chilled water  1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice  1/2 tsp black salt  1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder and finely chopped mint leaves

Step 1

Add the sattu flour to a tall glass and pour in a small amount of the water to create a smooth paste without any lumps.

Step 2

Slowly whisk in the remaining water until the mixture is uniform and thin.

Step 3

Stir in the lemon juice, black salt, and roasted cumin powder to enhance the earthy flavour of the roasted gram.

Step 4

Garnish with a handful of fresh mint leaves and serve immediately for an instant refreshing and hydrating boost.
