Can you imagine eating samosa without chutney? It seems incomplete. Green chutney with samosa adds to the spiciness and tangy notes that the filling might be missing. Here is how you can make that chutney at home and enjoy the street food.

Ingredients

1 tsp roasted cumin seeds 2 cups coriander leaves 2-4 green chillies 1 cup mint 2 garlic cloves ¼ tsp salt ½-inch ginger 1.5 tbsp lemon juice

Step 1

Cut the roots of coriander, rinse it thoroughly, and toss it into the food processor.

Step 2

Pluck mint leaves and wash them to remove dirt. Add to the blender.

Step 3

Add the rest of the ingredients to the jar and blitz them until you have a smooth paste.

Step 4

Taste the salt and tartness. You can add more lemon juice and salt later.

Step 5

Store this chutney in an airtight container, and you can use it for a week.

Step 6

Serve it with samosa and other deep-fried, air-fried, and shallow-fried snacks.
