Sabudana papad is a crunchy snack that you can add to the Navratri thali or serve standalone. Whether you are fasting or not, it is always a delight to munch on this snack. Here is its recipe.
1 cup sabudana 2 tsp cumin seeds 1.5 cup water for soaking 1 tsp lemon juice 4 cups water Rock salt to taste 1 tsp black pepper
Rinse and soak sabudana overnight. If you don’t have time, soak for at least 3-4 hours.
Heat a heavy-bottom pan and cook water and sabudana in it.
Add cumin seeds, black pepper, and rock salt to taste. Let the ingredients cook on a low flame.
Cook until sabudana turns soft and the mixture becomes translucent.
Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes. Take a butter paper or greased plastic sheet and drop a small amount of mixture on it.
Dry the papad in the air until it is hard and looks like glass. Deep-fry in oil whenever you would like to munch them.
