Sabudana Chivda: Your Ideal Chai Buddy During Monsoon

Sabudana chivda is a texture treasure hunt for your mouth. It has many ingredients, some crunchy, others nutty, but each boasts salty, sweet, and spicy notes. It is an ideal companion with tea in the evening or morning. Check out the recipe.

Ingredients

¼ cup cashews ½ cup large sabudana ½ tsp red chilli powder ¼ cup raisins ¼ cup peanuts Rock salt as needed ½ tsp powdered sugar Oil for deep frying

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry nylon sabudana pearls.

Step 2

Once the pearls puff up, keep them aside.

Step 3

Fry peanuts until they are golden brown.

Step 4

Deep-fry or dry-roast dry fruits.

Step 5

Toss all the ingredients in a salad bowl and sprinkle salt, sugar, and chilli powder.

Step 6

Mix them nicely and enjoy this trail mix.
