Sweet lassi is one of the most refreshing traditional drinks from North India and remains a staple summer beverage across Punjab and neighbouring regions. Made simply with yoghurt, sugar and a little chilled water, it requires no cooking and can be prepared within minutes using a blender or hand whisk. During times when LPG supply becomes limited or when people prefer no-cook recipes, sweet lassi offers a convenient option that still delivers protein, probiotics and hydration. Its creamy texture and mild sweetness make it a comforting drink during hot afternoons.
