Akhrot ka halwa is a rich, winter-perfect Indian dessert made with earthy walnuts, ghee, and milk. It offers a warm, nutty sweetness and a luxurious texture, making it ideal for festive celebrations or comforting homemade indulgence.
1 cup akhrot (crushed walnuts) ½ cup milk ¼ cup ghee ½ cup sugar 1 tsp cardamom powder
Heat ghee in a pan and roast crushed walnuts until aromatic.
Add milk and cook on medium until the mixture thickens.
Stir in sugar and mix continuously as it melts.
Cook until the halwa becomes glossy and leaves the sides of the pan.
Finish with cardamom powder and serve warm.
