Also called pink sauce pasta, this recipe is a mix of veggies and two types of sauces. You can make this over the weekend or when guests are over!
3 cups water Salt, to taste 1 cup pasta ½ cup butter 1 tsp garlic 1 tsp all-purpose flour ½ cup milk ½ cup fresh cream 1 tbsp oil ½ tsp mixed herbs 1 cup tomatoes ½ cup tomato puree ½ tsp red chilli flakes ½ tsp white pepper powder ½ cup yellow bell pepper ½ cup green pepper ½ cup baby corn 1 tbsp parmesan 1 mint leaf
Boil 3 cups of water. Add salt and pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool. Drizzle with some oil.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic. Then add all-purpose flour. Cook for a minute.
Whisk in the milk and fresh cream until smooth and thick. Add salt and pepper for taste.
In a separate pan, warm oil over medium heat. Add chopped tomatoes and tomato puree. Cook until the sauce thickens.
Add red chilli flakes, mixed herbs and salt, as needed. In a large pan, saute yellow bell pepper, green pepper and sliced baby corn.
Add the boiled pasta to the sautéed vegetables. Pour in both the white and tomato sauces. Toss well over medium heat. Serve!
