Tender chicken simmers in a thick green gravy filled with fresh mint, coriander, and warming spices. The silky masala clings beautifully to every bite, while the deep smoky taste and gentle heat make the green chicken curry recipe incredibly tempting with naan or rice.
500 gm chicken 1 cup coriander leaves 1/2 cup mint leaves 3 green chillies 1 onion 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 1/2 cup curd 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 tbsp oil Salt to taste Water as needed
Blend coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, and a little water into a smooth green paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and onions, and cook until golden and aromatic.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and chicken pieces, then cook until the chicken starts to release moisture.
Mix in curd, salt, and the prepared green paste, then cook until the chicken turns tender and flavourful.
Adjust the gravy consistency with water and serve the green chicken curry hot with rice or naan.
