Resolution To Cook More? Start New Year With Healthy Baked Paneer Tikka At Home

Marinated in classic Indian spices and baked till lightly charred, this protein-rich paneer tikka turns low-fat paneer into a New Year snack that feels familiar, festive, and irresistibly comforting on the plate.

Ingredients

250 g low-fat cubed paneer ½ cup hung curd ½ cup cubed bell peppers 1 cubed onion 1 tbsp mustard oil 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder ¼ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp garam masala 1 tsp lemon juice Salt to taste

Step 1

Whisk hung curd with spices, mustard oil, lemon juice, and salt to form a smooth marinade.

Step 2

Add paneer, onion, and bell peppers, coating them evenly with the mixture.

Step 3

Allow the paneer to marinate for 30 minutes for better flavour absorption.

Step 4

Skewer the paneer and vegetables and place them on a lined baking tray.

Step 5

Bake at 200°C for 18-20 minutes, turning once, until lightly charred and cooked.
