Kakdi ka raita is a refreshing yoghurt made with grated cucumber, cumin powder and salt. It’s cooling and mildly tangy, perfectly balancing a hot weather or a spicy dish.
1 grated cucumber (Kakdi) 1 cup whisked yoghurt 1 finely chopped green chilli ½ tsp cumin powder Salt, to taste A pinch of black salt 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves Roasted cumin seeds for garnish
Prepare the cucumber by grating and removing the excess water from it.
Take a bowl and mix cucumber, yoghurt, green chilli, cumin powder, salt and black salt.
Top it up with fresh coriander leaves and roasted cumin powder.
Chill for 10-15 minutes and serve it on the side
