Hibiscus drinks are enjoyed across many cultures, from Mexican agua de jamaica to African hibiscus tea. The dried hibiscus flower gives beverages a deep ruby colour and a naturally tart flavour similar to cranberry. Besides its refreshing taste, hibiscus is known for containing antioxidants and vitamin C which may support hydration and overall wellness. When combined with lemon and lightly sweetened, it creates a bright summer drink that feels both cooling and energising.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons dried hibiscus petals 2 cups hot water Juice of 1 lemon 1–2 tablespoons honey or sugar Cold water and ice
