Paneer lababdar is a popular North Indian dish cooked in a rich and creamy tomato gravy. It is a blend of aromatic spices. Topped with a touch of cream, you can have it with rice, pulao or naan.
200 grams of paneer, chopped into cubes 2 tablespoons of oil 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste 2 medium onions, chopped ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder Salt to taste ¼ cup of water 2 tablespoons of cream A few coriander leaves for garnish
Add chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, and cumin seeds to a pan with heated oil. Onions should be sautéed till golden brown.
Add garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and tomato puree. Cook until the masala and oil separate.
Add water, salt, and paneer cubes. The paneer should be cooked through after a few minutes of simmering.
Drizzle some cream on top and add some fresh coriander leaves as a garnish. Serve hot over rice or naan.
