Recipe For Makhana Chaat: Make A Guilt-Free Treat At Home

Makhana Chaat is a quick, healthy, nutritious, and flavourful snack made with roasted makhanas, vegetables and spices.  Perfect for a guilt-free treat, combined with crunch and some refreshing flavours.

Ingredients

2 cups makhana 1 tbsp oil 1 finely chopped onion 1 finely chopped tomato 1 diced cucumber 1 finely chopped green chilli 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp chaat masala Salt to taste Chopped fresh coriander Optional toppings: Sev, pomegranate seeds, or yoghurt

Step 1

Heat ghee/oil in a pan and roast the makhanas until they turn crispy, and then let them cool.

Step 2

Mix chopped onion, tomatoes, cucumber and coriander in a bowl.

Step 3

Add the roasted makhanas to the veggie mix.

Step 4

Sprinkle chaat masala, salt and lemon juice into the bowl.

Step 5

Mix well and garnish with sev and pomegranate seeds and serve immediately.
