Kerala’s regional curries are known for their creamy base and aroma. One such example is peas masala curry boasting a orange-red hue that makes it irresistible. It pairs well with puri and parotta. Try its recipe.
2 chopped onions 2 cups boiled green peas 1-inch ginger 1 cup coconut milk 2 chopped tomatoes 2 tsp oil 2 garlic cloves 2 tbsp coriander Salt to taste 4-5 red chillies
Dry roast red chillies and coriander seeds. Grind them into a powder.
Heat oil and saute onion until they are golden brown.
Add chopped tomatoes, ginger, and garlic into the same saucepan.
Once the tomatoes are mushy, grind the ingredients into a smooth paste.
Add oil to the same pan and let the gravy, coriander masala, and coconut milk simmer.
Add boiled peas and sprinkle salt. After a boil, serve the dish hot.
