Raw bananas are sticky, nutritious, and perfect for making cutlets. Their binding nature makes them an ideal choice to use for the outer shell. Here is how to make these cutlets during Navratri and other auspicious occasions.
3-4 raw bananas 2-3 boiled potatoes Salt, pepper to taste 2 tbsp coriander leaves 2 chopped green chillies Oil for frying
Mash boiled potatoes with salt, pepper, green chillies, and coriander leaves.
Boil raw bananas and peel their skin. Mash them with salt and pepper.
Grease your palms with oil and make small balls with the potato blend.
Stuff potato balls inside bananas and shape them into tikki.
Deep-fry cutlets until they are brown and crispy. Serve with green chutney.
