Hydration during suhoor helps sustain energy levels throughout the fasting day. Electrolytes such as potassium and sodium play a role in maintaining fluid balance. Traditional drinks often rely on natural fruit sugars, seeds and herbs. These options are simple to prepare before dawn and avoid excessive sweetness. Each provides hydration support without feeling heavy.
Mix 1 cup fresh coconut water with 1 tsp soaked basil seeds. Stir well and serve chilled.
Combine juice of 1 lemon, crushed mint leaves, a pinch of salt and 1 glass chilled water. Stir and serve immediately.
Blend 1 cup watermelon cubes and strain if needed. Add a squeeze of lime and serve cold.
Blend 2 soaked dates with 1 cup chilled milk for a natural energy drink.
Mix 1 tsp soaked chia seeds with 1 glass water, 1 tsp honey and a few drops of lemon juice.
