Raksha Bandhan 2026 is a good reason to give your chocolate mould a creative and fun makeover. Using chocolate, colourful edible toppings and a few simple moulding tricks, you can turn your homemade chocolates into festive gifts that have a personal touch and are perfect for celebration.

Keep The Mould Completely Dry

A thoroughly dry mould is the first step to getting neat chocolates. Wipe the mould thoroughly before using, as even the tiniest drop of water can make the melted chocolate go grainy.

Melt Chocolate Slowly

Break the chocolate into small pieces and then melt it gently using a double-boiler method. Keep the flame low and make sure no steam or water gets into the bowl.

 Fill Each Cavity Evenly

Pour the melted chocolate into each hollow without overfilling. Tap the mould gently on the counter to release any air bubbles.

Give It A Festive Finish

Add chopped nuts, colourful sprinkles or edible gold and silver embellishments while the chocolate is still soft to give it a festive touch.

Keep It Chilling For Some Time

Keep the filled mould flat in the refrigerator for at least an hour so the chocolate can get set evenly.

 Unmould Carefully

Once the chocolates are set and firm, gently flex the mould and release each piece without pulling or forcing, as the delicate designs may break.
