Rains call for pakoras and chai, a deadly combination that you cannot say no to. In India, a shower spell is often accompanied by fried snacks. Here is how you can make pyaaz pakoras in under 10 minutes.
Oil for deep frying Salt to taste 1 cup besan ½ tsp turmeric powder 2 sliced onions 1 tsp red chilli powder Water as needed ½ tsp cumin powder
Pour oil into a kadhai and let it heat up.
Mix besan with powdered spices and water.
Keep the consistency thick for coating.
Dip onion slices in the batter and drop them in hot oil.
Let the besan coating turn golden brown and crispy.
Enjoy pyaaz pakoras for dinner on a rainy day.
