Raining Outside? Make Paneer Pakora At Home

When it rains outside, nothing pairs better than pakoras and tea. If you are on a diet, you can opt for paneer pakora as well. The milk-based product is rich in protein and tastes delicious wrapped in a crispy shell of besan.

Ingredients

1 tsp red chilli powder 200g paneer ½ tsp chaat, garam masala Oil for deep frying Salt as needed 2 tbsp rice flour ½ cup besan 1 tsp ajwain 1 tsp ginger-chilli paste Water as needed

Step 1

Cut paneer into cubes and toss them gently with salt, chaat masala, garam masala, and red chilli powder.

Step 2

Keep paneer cubes aside and prepare a slurry of besan, rice flour, and powdered spices.

Step 3

Dip paneer cubes in the slurry and coat them well.

Step 4

Slowly drop the paneer cubes in hot oil and deep-fry them until golden brown.

Step 5

Serve paneer pakoras with masala chai, green chutney, and ketchup.
