Ragi Uttapam is a wholesome dish made using ragi flour, vegetables, and light spices. It is a healthy South Indian recipe that can be enjoyed for breakfast, brunch, or as a light dinner option.
1 cup ragi flour ½ cup semolina (sooji) ½ cup curd ½ onion (finely chopped) 1 tomato (finely chopped) 1 green chilli (chopped) 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves (chopped) Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for cooking
In a mixing bowl, combine ragi flour, semolina, curd, and salt. Add water gradually to form a smooth batter. Leave it aside for 10–15 minutes.
Heat a tawa or non-stick pan and grease lightly with oil.
Pour a ladle of batter and spread into a thick round shape like an uttapam.
Sprinkle onion, tomato, chilli, and coriander on top. Drizzle a little oil around the edges.
Cook on low flame until both sides turn golden and crisp.
Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
