A bowl of ragi soup is everything you need on a rainy day. Healthy and gluten-free, you can add in your favourite vegetables and go-to spices to make ragi soup and serve it for a cosy monsoon supper.
2 tbsp ragi flour 1 tsp oil 2 cloves of garlic 1 onion ¼ cup carrot ¼ cup beans 2½ cups vegetable stock ¼ tsp black pepper powder Salt to taste 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tbsp coriander leaves A squeeze of lemon juice
Heat some oil and sauté garlic and onion till fragnant.
Chop the veggies, add to the same pan, and cook for a few minutes.
Mix ragi flour with water till smooth. Stir in vegetable stock and simmer while stirring.
Season with salt, black pepper, and roasted cumin powder. Simmer till the soup thickens.
Garnish with coriander leaves and a squeeze of lemon. Serve hot with toasted bread.
