Ragi or finger millet is rich in fibre, protein, iron, calcium, and many other essential nutrients. It is the right ingredient to pick for breakfast and begin your day with a healthy meal. Here is a recipe for instant ragi chilla that you must try.
½ cup ragi flour ½ cup besan ½ cup curd Water as needed Salt as needed ½ tsp cumin powder ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ cup grated carrot ½ cup grated paneer 1 tbsp coriander leaves ½ cup chopped onion, tomato Oil as needed
In a bowl, mix powdered spices, ragi flour, and besan.
Add curd and water to prepare a blend. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile grate carrot and paneer and chop onion, tomato, and coriander leaves.
Spread a thin layer of ragi batter on a hot tawa.
Add chopped and grated vegetables and paneer on the top of the chilla.
Serve chilla hot with ketchup or chutney of your choice.
