8-10 taro roots 1 tbsp curd 1 cup buttermilk 1 cup water Salt to taste 1 tsp ajwain seeds 1 tbsp oil, coriander leaves ½ tsp coriander powder ½ tsp turmeric, chilli powder 1 slit green chilli ¼ tsp garam masala
Boil taro roots in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles. Remove the skin and slice the vegetable.
Heat oil in a kadhai and add green chilli, ajwain, and turmeric powder.
After a minute, add water and taro roots. Let the water come to a boil.
Add remaining powdered spices to the curd and buttermilk blend.
Pour the curd blend into the kadhai. Keep the flame high and keep stirring.
Once the ingredients come to a boil, turn off the heat and garnish with coriander leaves.
