Quick & Healthy Vegetable Chilla Recipe For a Perfect Start

Made with healthy vegetables mixed in besan, vegetable chilla is quick-to-make and perfect breakfast or snack. Prepared across Indian homes all through the year, this recipe should definitely be in your kitty for quick meals.

Ingredients

1 cup besan 1/4 cup water 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon hing To taste salt 1/4 cup grated carrot 1/4 cup finely chopped onions 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves 1-2 chopped green chillies Oil or ghee for cooking

Step 1

Prepare a batter by mixing besan, spices, salt, and water into a smooth, thick batter.

Step 2

Stir in the carrot, onions, tomatoes, coriander, and green chillies.

Step 3

Heat a greased pan, pour the batter, and spread into a circle, cook until it turns golden on both sides.

Step 4

Serve it with green chutney or yoghurt!
