Bread Chilla is a twist on the traditional besan chilla and is perfect for a busy morning meal or snacks. It is easy to prepare, customisable, and a surefire crowd pleaser with chutney or ketchup.
4 bread slices 1/2 cup besan 1/4 cup rice flour 1 chopped onion 1 chopped green chilli 1/4 tsp turmeric 1/4 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for cooking
Crumble 4 bread slices and mix besan, rice flour, spices, chopped onion and chilli.
Gradually add water to make the batter thick.
Heat a greased pan, spread the batter and let it cook until it turns golden.
Serve hot with chutney or ketchup
