Rice flour chilla is a quick and delicious meal made with rice flour and a mix of spices. It’s a popular choice for breakfast or a quick snack.
1 cup rice flour 2 tbsp gram flour (besan) 1 finely chopped onion 1-2 finely chopped green chillies 1 tsp grated ginger 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves ½ tsp cumin seeds ¼ tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste ¾-1 cup water (adjust for batter consistency) Oil or ghee for cooking
Mix rice flour, gram flour, and spices in a bowl and add water to form a smooth batter.
Stir in the onions, green chillies, ginger and coriander leaves.
Heat a greased pan, pour some batter and spread it into a thin circle.
Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook until it turns golden.
Serve with hot chutney or yoghurt!
