On the days when you are having dal makhani, butter chicken, or shahi paneer, the only flatbread to match the Punjabi mains has to be namak ajwain ka paratha. Make it with this quick recipe.
2 cups whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ajwain 1/2 cup water 1 tablespoon oil Ghee for cooking
Mix whole wheat flour, salt, and ajwain. Add water and knead a smooth dough.
Let the dough rest for a few hours. Take small portions of the dough and roll them into circles.
Heat a tawa, drizzle some ghee and cook the paratha till golden brown on both sides.
Once crispy, serve with a bowl of curd and chutney or achaar.
