Punjabi Mushroom Masala Recipe For A Spicy Lunch Or Dinner

Do you love the spicy mushroom masala that your favourite restaurant serves? Well, with this easy recipe, you can now make it at home. Just follow these steps and add some spice to your meals.

Ingredients

400 grams button mushrooms 1 onion 3 tomatoes 1 ginger 2 cloves garlic 3 tablespoons oil 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 2 cloves 1 inch cinnamon stick 2 green cardamoms 1 black cardamom 1 bay leaf 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste Coriander leaves (for garnishing)

Step 1

Heat some oil and saute cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, cardamoms, and bay leaf.

Step 2

Cook chopped onion till golden, and add ginger, garlic, and pureed tomatoes.

Step 3

Add all the spices and sliced mushrooms.

Step 4

Balance the consistency by adding water. Cook till the mushrooms are tender.

Step 5

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
