Punjabi Methi Makki Ki Roti You Must Try For A Winter Breakfast

If you love makki ki roti paired with sarson ka saag, you have to try this breakfast recipe. Made with makki ka atta, methi leaves, and green chillis, topped with butter, makes a cosy Punjabi-style breakfast.

Ingredients

1.5 cups makki ka atta 1 cup fresh methi 1 green chilli Salt to taste 1.5 cups water Ghee for cooking

Step 1

Mix makki ka atta, salt, methi, and green chillies. Gradually add warm water and knead the dough.

Step 2

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 20 minutes.

Step 3

Take small portions of the dough, roll them into rotis and cook on both sides.

Step 4

Add a dollop of ghee or butter to the crispy roti and serve with an achar.
