Pumpkin paratha is a healthy and flavourful flatbread made by kneading grated pumpkin into wheat flour dough and cooking it on a tawa. It’s soft, lightly spiced, and perfect for breakfast or lunch.
2 cups whole wheat flour 1 cup grated pumpkin 1 green chilli (chopped) 1 tsp grated ginger ½ tsp turmeric ½ tsp ajwain (carom seeds) Salt to taste 2 tsp oil (for dough) Ghee or oil (for cooking)
Mix wheat flour, grated pumpkin, chilli, ginger, turmeric, ajwain, salt, and oil. Knead into a soft dough (add little water if needed).
Divide into balls and roll into parathas.
Cook each paratha on a hot tawa with ghee or oil until golden spots appear.
Serve hot with pickle, chutney, or curd.
